Adoption of Meeting Minutes: · Adoption of minutes from May 31,2005 MOTION made by Ray Huntington, seconded by Ray Blum, to accept minutes of the May 31,2005 meeting. Motion carried 4/0. Contract is to be made between landowner and Peconic Land Trust and assignable to Town. Thirty days to close. Public Hearing date will be set at 7/5/05 Town Board meeting. Melissa Spire met with Nancy Pearson on June 28, 2005, as landowner wants to move driveway to along existing ROW. Further investigation of Planning Board file revealed that Covenants & Restrictions were filed in the Suffolk County Clerk's office at time of subdivision that state "no further subdivision of the lots". Melissa Spire directed to send letter to landowner committee's offer to purchase development rights is withdrawn. · PARADISE POINT HOLDING CORP. PROPERTY: SCTM #: 1000-61-2-5 Location: 695 Paradise Point Road, Southold Total Acreage: +19.95 acres PDR Acreage: +12 acres Zoned: A-C FSNet: +3.83 acres CPF: Yes Review status. Schedule field inspection. Melissa Spire met with Mark Terry, Environmental Planner and landowner to discuss a possible concept plan for this property. Melissa suggested that LPC members make a field inspection of the property that has been scheduled for Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at 2:30. Members are to meet in the Town Hall parking lot. Ray Huntington will contact members by e-mail to confirm field inspection date. Inquiries: · CHUDIAK PROPERTY: SCTM #: 1000-113-7-1.1 Location: 4250 (s/s) Bergen Avenue, Mattituck Total Acreage: 5.0 acres PDR Acreage: < 5.0 acres offered Zoned: A-C FSNet: 0 acres Mwet 0 acres CPF: Yes Inquiry re: potential PDR on parcel < 5 acres. Landowner contacted Land Preservation Department by phone as well as a potential purchaser of the subject property. Inquiry made as to whether or not the Town would be interest in preserving approximately 3.4 acres of the 5 acre parcel. LPC members not favorable in pursuing as this project is not up to the objective standards of the committee. The members entered into EXECUTIVE SESSION. General: · Discussed recent offers made by County and request for Town to partner with County [executive session] Melissa Spiro discussed several projects that the County has made offer to landowners but, to date, has received no responses. LPC members are interested in a potential for partnership with the County but need to review the purchase offer after the landowner has committed to the sale. · Melissa Spiro's status report [executive session re: status of offers] Melissa's confidential status report of projects handed out and discussed. END OF EXECUTIVE SESSION Informational: · Reese property - closing date set for Tuesday, July 12, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. in Melissa's office, Land Preservation Department · Press Conference - regarding federal funding will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2005, at 11:00 a.m., Southold Town Beach (RSVP to Supervisor's office) · Annual Fishers Island Town Board Meeting - August 10, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. RSVP to Supervisor's office required by August 5th (765-1889) Next Regular Meeting: · The next regular meeting will be held on Tuesday, July '12, 2005, in Conference Room, at 7:00 p.m. Adjournment: · The meeting was adjourned at 6:34 p.m. by the seven members.
