To Whom It May Concern:
Please note that inspections by the Building Department could not close out the present
permits issued on these cottages since there were no visual inspections made as the work
being done.
To close out any permit on any cottage, an engineer must certify the work done conforms
to all New York State Codes and specify to the scope of the work that was done under the
permit. Any work done beyond the scope of the original permit must be submitted as an
amendment to the permit and certified as noted above before a C.O. can be issued.
Please call the Building Department if any further information is needed.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
An inspection was made to the existing buildings off of Sage Boulevard on October
13, 1995. The buildings were evaluated for structural repairs required to make each
building sound. The buildings were evaluated in sections: foundation, floor framing, interior
and exterior wall framing, and ceiling and roof framing. The following is a break down of
each of those components as a percentage of the whole structure:
Foundation 30%
Consists of exterior and interior masonry of wood supports
Floor framing 20%
All main girders, floor joists and sub flooring
Exterior and interior wall framing 25%
All sills studs plates and headers, and sheathing
Ceiling and roof framing 25%
Ceiling joists, roof rafters, and sheathing
TOTAL STRUCTURE 100%
No evaluation of plumbing, or electric will be detailed in this report. Also cosmetic
repairs, such as interior surfaces, broken widows, or window sash, or other interior or
exterior finishes will not be commented upon.

Building foundation requires minor repairs. The porch on the West side of house
needs repairs to floor joists and some releveling.

Building #14
This building is supported on a brick foundation. Porch on the South West side of
building has some rot due to soil in contact with wood members. Porch foundation may
need some repairs. Small porch on North East side needs repairs to floor joists. Minor
releveling to main floor.
