This handsome structure contributes to the ambience of the area.
Fresh water lakes at Barlow Pond and Island Pond provided water
to a reservoir nti�-g.w, the Mansion House in 1904. After
the electric cable was laid from Connecticut, the old-fashioned
steam pumps were replaced with electric pumps.
