of Treasure Fond . Wooded and hilly with steep incline to the
south towards cottage/garage . peep vale in front of house .

Large , 11 stony, gable roof house with hip roof dormers.
Main facade has slightly projecting gable roof wing and
entrance with wood sunburst panel in door surround. 2,
story west wing at lower level with covered stair-porch
decorated with lentils. 6/6 windows.

20 HISTORICAL AND ARCIIITLCTURAL IMPORTANCE:
This rambling house is an example of the low- key "Long
Island Farmhouse style" that characterizes many of the
summer residences here on the east end of Fishers
Tsland . These houses are well integrated into the landscape
throuFh the use of naturalistic material and irregular house
form.
