clearing surrounded by woodland. Approached by a steep, winding
drive.

Large, 22 story, 5 bay, center entrance plan, gable roof house.
1 story, flat roof wing on west wit], semi-hexagonal bay window.
2z story, gable roof wing on east. ly-I story, gable roof, garage
wing on east with shed roof dormer and lattice post entrance.
Main house entrance porch has shed roof supported on slender
columns.

20. HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE:
This large country residence is in the Long Island farmhouse
style. In particular, the front entrance stoop almost replicates
the Colonial stoops on mid-Long Island's historic houses.
