Located in a lightly wooded, priva_e, residential area,
part of a cluster of three individual properties in the
area. Open land surrounding this small enclave,

Large 2, story, multi bay, multi level, side entrnace plan,
gable roof house on high rock foundation. Garage incorporated
into 22 story, gable roof extension on main facade. Main
door with wide surrounds and high entablature. 6/6 windows,
wood paneled shutters with decorative cut-out motif:

20. HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE:
This is reported to be one of the earliest houses built in
this part of the island.
In the decade. after this house was built, various other
country houses were built on Fishers Island that reflected
different regional designs. This early Fishers Island
country house is an adaptation of the Colonial idiom
and reflects the colonial origins of Fishers Island's
settlement.
