Main roof extends to first floor level over porch on entrance front. 22 story, gable roof wing on west with wall face dormers. Smaller, 12 story, gambrel roof wing on west. DATE OF INITIAL CONSTRUCTION: 2nd quarter of 20th century. ARCHITECT: BUILDER: 20. HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE: This interesting house with its low sweeping roof is typical of the low-kev large country houses that predominate here on the east end of Fishers Island .
