Located in a low density, residential area. Predominantly
open land surrounds the house, with other similiar, former
hotel cottages scattered to the north and east.
18. OTHER NOTABLE FEATURES OF BUILDING AND SITE (including interior features if known):
22 story, gambrel roof, Shingle Style cottage with enveloping
roof extending down to first floor level. Wrap-araound sub-
sumed porch with triple and double columns on large squared
pedestals and intricate turned balusters. Cornice at first
floor level with scroll brackets. Windows 9/2, 12/2,
SIGNIFICANCE with transoms on second story.

0. HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE:
This is one of about 30 shingled cottages of various types that
were built for the Mansion House Hotel guests at the turn of
the century. This model is almost identical to three that
remain from the Munnatawket HotK compound. (See WE-16) ,
