A white picket fence fronts the small cemetery along Main Rd. , with low stone walls on the east and west edges.-see attachment- la. OTHER NOTABLE FEATURES OF BUILDING AND SITE (including interior features it'k-nown): Stones in the Latham Cemetery are of various historic date and marker style, from the hand carved round-headed stone to polished granite spires. One of two historic family cemeteries along Main Rd. in the immediate vicinity. SIGNIFICANCE 19. DATE OF INITIAL CONSTRUCTION: ARCHITECT: BUILDER: ,o. HISTORICAL AND ARCiOrECTURAL IMPORTANCE: This well maintained cemetery with the roadside white picket fence contributes to the ambience of this historic highway. This cemetery, and the Terry cemetery, are unusual in that they do not appear to be abandoned, as so many old cemeteries are. These are maintained by private cemetery associations. 1.
