density residential/agricultural area. Latham Cemetery (OR-56)
directly south, across Main Rd. Mix of open farm land
(predominant) and light wood land.
18. OTHER NOTABLE FEATURES OF BUILDING AND SITE (including interior features if known):
Large, 2%2 story, 5 bay, gable roof house. Hip roof porch
across the main (south) facade with Tuscan columns and
entrance gable. Prominent central dormer with Queen Anne
variegated shingle patterns. Scalloped shingles across
middle of second story.

20. HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE:
Ellsworth and Jennie Prince Beebe were married in 1887, when this
house may have been built. It was subsequently enlarged.
Ellsworth farmed in Orient and later was in the harness
business in Greenport.
