the house to the S, N, E, and W.

2z story, 3 bay, side entrance plan, gable roof house. 1z story,
gable roof wing on east with small windows under the eaves.
Semi-wraparound porch on main house with Tuscan columns. Floor
length 4/4 windows open onto the front porch. All others are 2/2.

19_ GATE OF INITIAL CONSTRUCTION: 1838 (?) and 2nd half 19th century.

There appears to have been a Rufus Tuthill house on this site
in 1838. If so, the wing of this house may be the pre-1838
building. The house today serves as the summer residence for
the Flemings who reside in Huntington. They have built the
modern windmill to supply their electricity.
