HISTORICAL AND ARCIiITECTURAL IMPORTANCE: Peter Sledjeski arrived in America in 1878 and worked for local farmers in this area, including one named Brown. His success is evident by the fact that by 1950, this house was surrounded by a 100 acre farm. This house replaced a very old one on the site at the time it was constructed. Mr. Sledjeski' s daughters, Mrs. Pemberton and Mrs. Okulaj supplied the above information. ?I. SOURCES: * Interview, Mrs. Fembettton, 11/87. ** Interview, Bertha Okula, 11/87. 22.
