Hwy. Predominantly open land surrounds the house. One of several
vintage houses of its type in the immediate area. Field to
south, across Main Rd.
18. OTHER NOTABLE. FEATURES OF BUILDING AND SITE (including interior features if known):
Early, 1%2 story, 5 bay, center chimney, gable roof house. 2 story,
3 bay, flat roof wing on east with paired brackets and drop
pendants.
SIGNIFICANCE
19. DATE OF INITIAL CONSTRUCTION: Early house; the wing may date from
1841, as this date was found on a cellar beam.

20. HISTORICAL AND ARCHITLCTURAL IMPORTANCE:
This important typical North Fork "Cape Cod Style" house was
owned by Jos. Droskowski c. 1974. The house contributes to the
historic ambience of Kings Hwy.
