land predominantly to the south. House situated close to Main Rd.

Large 212 story, 3 bay, side entrance plan. gable roof house. l'2 story,
gable roof wing on east Wide entrance on main house with pilasters,
flat dentils, transom, and sidelights. Front stoop with inverted "T"
railing. 6/6 windows.

-10. HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE:
The wing and first floor were original. Second floor and attic were
added in 1820-30, according to local accounts.
The house was awned by Seth L. Tuthill in 1873. and by Herbert Tut-
hill in 1909.
