'0 HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE:
This house has interesting details . The hood moldings are
unusual .
Beebe sold the house to Michael Karcher in 1869 , according
to local accounts . The present house does not appear to be
that old . Perhaps Karcher rebuilt it . lurthur structural
research needed .
This house was "abandoned" in 1974 . Since it has been saved
and restored , it contributes to the ambience of this historic
Kings Hwy.
