Sound to the north and Orient Harbor to the south. Low
density residential , predominantly wooded land surrounds
the house , especially to the north.

21 story, multi-bayed house on raised foundation. Hip roof
with shed roof dormers . Wrap around porch with columns and
squared baluster railing. Entrance door with transom. 2/2

10. HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE.:
Built by a Dr. Erdman, from NYC , circa 1900. Erdman bought
the land in the 'mid 1890 "s from the Miller family, who
owned and operated the nearby John Miller Hotel which was
called The Mount Pleasant House .
