OTHER NOTABLE FEATURES OF BUILDING AND SITE (including interior features if known): The original structure was a clapboard three-quarters Cape Cod cottage, extended in the rear in the 1930's. Narrow front door characteristic of Greek Revival- Pit-sawn beam in the cellar; mortise and tenon beams with wooden pegs in the attic. Floorboards in original part of building are of random width. Change in baseboard molding on west wall indicates some structural changes may have been made. There is a hinged riser under the second tread of stairs SIGNIFICANCE leading to attic. ]fit.
