east-west route through East Marion. Medium density res-
idential, with a mix of historic buildings . Heavily treed
property.

1z story, 2-bay 2nd story, 3-bay ground story, side entrance
plan, gable roof house, gable end to the street . 1 story
wing on rear. Unusual semi-wraparound porch with elaborate
flat lattice posts abd sawn spandrels . Small scrolled con-
soles under the eaves , and scroll design porch roof edging.

It is believed that this house was owned by D .T . Vail in
