0. HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE.
In 1670 this tract was sold to Wm. H. Moore who built a
fine home on the site . His family held the property until
it was sold to Harrison McCann of McCann Advertising Agency
and the old house was demolished.
In 1940 , during the Tercentenary Celebration, one of the
major events was a "Breakfast Flight" of airplanes to the
McCann and Fordham (GR 30) estates.
