Roof overhang supported on heavy scrolled brackets. Pilastered hood at side-lighted entrance is decorated with small version of same brackets. SIGNIFICANCE 1'). DATE OF INITIAL CONSTRUCTION: Pre-1815 ARCHITECT: BUILDER: 10. HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE: This house isntnamed on the 1838 map. In 1858 it was Mr. Conklin. In 1873 it was A. Albertson. In 1897 it was John Pell and in 1909 Mary Pell. This fine old house contributes to Southold' s historic heritage.
