In heavily wooded area, in small clearing, on high bluffs
overlooking Long Island Sound.

Brick house of 2-1 -stories with hip roof on west with gable
roof sloping to first floor level on the east. Reportedly
this was a Frame house that was updated with brick veneer in
the 1930 ' s.

This unusual house was reportedly owned by Peevey, "a
lawyer for Rockefeller," in the 1930 ' x. It is one of the
few early 20th century houses built on the Sound bluffs,
introducing a new era in the development of Southold.
Garage with rusticated concrete blocks. Hip roof with
very wide overhang and exposed rafter ends.
