Maple Avenue in 1858 and 1.873 solely led to the Case/Judd
mansion. Today it is a low density residential road.

"Res. of J. Ockham Case" on 1858 map.
"Res. F,L. Judd" on 1873 map.
Judd bought the house in 1867 from Jos. IAtickham Case who
built the house in 1854 on land acquired From Zebulon
Homan and Captain Benj . Wells. Judd owned until 1879.
This house reflects the prosperity of Southold in the
1850 ' s.

Early garage (probably early 20th century)
Square brick garage with high pyramidal monitor
roof and large square hip-roof cupola.
Unusual brick work with pattern of extruded
brick headers of "distressed" brick.
Hayloft door and hoist above three garage bays.
Gateposts at entrance are of same brick.
