'U. HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE:
This handsome well-preserved Gothic Revival house is of
significance architecturally as a good example of its
period, and also is significant historically as it was
the local library for many years before it was removed
from Main Road.
It possibly was Mrs. Skinner on the 1873 map.
