Box 1179 Southold, NY 11971-0959 Dear Board of Town Trustees: In response to the Notice of Violation and Criminal Summons ! received in the mail, attached is completed paperwork to apply for a Trustee Permit. I am very sorry I am applying for this permit after we already cleaned up the property but I was unaware a permit was needed. My brother and I inherited our family summer home when my father passed away in 1998. Since that time, we have been up to the property on several occasions and trimmed various cedar trees, shrubs and reeds and killed poison ivy in order to clean up the property that had been neglected for several years. We took quite a bit of debris to the town dump but on trips ~vhen we didn't have use of a truck, we placed the cuttings on what we refer to as the meadow. We xvill be up the first ~veek of June and plan to remove any remaining debris at that time. We will also come to your office and talk with you about what we are allowed to remove from our property, what cannot be touched, and what permits are necessary, to do this work. If you need any further information, I can be reached at the above listed address or telephone numbers. Sincerely, Susan Johnson Encls.
