Permit to construct and complete project will expire two years from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification. The vegetation as you know plays an imporlnnt part in the health of the creek. The only disturbances resulting fi-om the project will be the minor disturbance of marsh vegetation and the temporavj disturbance to the bottom caused by driving of the piles associated with the dock. Therefore, the project will be consistent with Policy 44, as it will not affect benefits derived from tidal wetlands and will require a Tidal Wetlands Act permit from the NYSDEC. 3a) Because the proposed activity will occur at a waterfront site, it must be consistent with Policies 2, 21 and 22..As the proposed structure will facilitate water-related recreation by providing safe dockage and access for recreational boating along West Creek, the project will be consistent with Policy 21.
