To recoup soil and restore to a depth of 4' below MLW, not greater than 10' from bulkheads. Spoil to be removed from boat basin to an average depth of 4' below MLW and placed upland. Box 743 Mattituck, NY 11952 Re: CHERYL HANSEN SCTM#78-5-3 Dear Mr. Kowalski: The following action was taken by the Board of during its regular meeting held on February 24, the above matter: Town Trustees 1999 regarding WHEREAS, Permits & Drafting Unlimited on behalf of CHERYL HANSEN applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated January 5, 1999 and, WHEREAS, said application was referred to the $outhold Town Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and recommendations, and, WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on February 24, 1999, at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and, WHEREAS, the Board members familiar with the premises and, have personally viewed and are in question and the surrounding area, WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted concerning this application, and, WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in Chapter 37-18 of the Southold Town Code, WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town, NOW THEREFORE BE IT, RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees grant a Wetland Permit to replace 82.5 linear ft. of bulkhead inkind/inplace and 25" higher than existing, widen existing slip by excavating 2.5'X 25' section and constructing new bulkhead at walls, backfill bulkheads with 100 c.y. of excavated material and related activities to complete with the condition that a 10' non-turf buffer be placed behind the bulkhead. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be considered a determination made for any other Department or Agency which may also have an application pending for the same or similar project. Permit to construct and complete project will expire two years from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification.
