Dear Mr. Ivans,
The Southold Town Board of Trustees reviewed the survey dated
and received in our office on October 8, 1999 and determined
that the construction of a single family dwelling and clearing
of property to be out of the Trustee Wetland jurisdiction, under
Chapter 97, of the Town Wetland Code, provided a row of staked
haybales be placed at the "clearing limits" line shown on survey
during construction.
However, any activity within 75' of the Wetland line would
require permits from this office.
However, this determination is not a determination from any
other agency.

Dear Mr. Evans,
This Finn represents Peter Jacques who is seeking to construct a new single family
residence on the aforementioned property. Enclosed herewith for your review please find
the following materials:

Two stamped surveys of subject parcel prepared by Peconic Surveyors, last
revised August 25, 1999 showing all proposed structures and existing contour
lines;
(2) Photos (2 sets) showing the location of all proposed structures;
(3) Copy of the original Town of Southold Building Permit: No. 18127 Z; dated
May 22, 1989;
(4) Location map; and
(5) Authorization;
On behalf of Mr. Jacques, I request a Letter df Non-Jurisdiction pursuant to
Chapter 97-13: Definitions: Wetlands (A)(3) on the basis that the proposed structures
and clearing are located greater than 75 feet landward of the most landward edge &the
delineated tidal wetlands found on the above referenced property.

INSTRUCTIONS
a. Tlds application must be completely filled in by typewriter or in ink and submitted to the Building Inspector, with 3
sets of plans, accurate plot plan to scale. Fee according to scliedule.
b. Plot plan showing location of lot and of buildings on premises, relationship to adjoining premises or public streets
or areas, and giving a detailed description of layout of property must be drawn on the diagram which is part of this appli-
cation.
c. The work covered by fids application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit.
d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issued a Btdlding Permit to the applicant. Such permit
shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the work.
e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in part for any purpose whatever until a Certificate of Occupancy
shall have been granted by the Building Inspector.
APPLICATION IS HEREBY glADE to the Building Department for the issuance of a Building Permit pursuant to the
Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of Southold, Suffolk Cotmty, New York, and other applicable Laws, Ordinances or
