Dear Ms. Mesiano:
The Board of Town Trustees took the following action during its regular meeting held on
Wednesday, August 21, 2002 regarding the above matter:
WHEREAS, Catherine Mesiano on behalf of SCIIEMBRI HOMES, INC. applied to the
Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of Chapter 97 of the Southold Town
Code, the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated July 30, 2002, and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Toxvn Conservation Advisory Council
for their findings and recommendations, and,
WHEREAS, a Public Heating xvas held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on
August 2 l, 2002, at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in
question and the surrounding area, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted
concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standards set forth in Chapter 97 of the Southold
Town Code,

WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health,
safety and general welfare of the people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approve the application of SCHEMBRI HOMES,
INC. to construct a 51 'X 61' single-family dwelling and on-site sewage disposal system, with
the condition ora non-disturbance buffer 50' from the edge of the wetlands and a split-rail fence
installed at the 50' line, and a 25'non-turf buffer on the west side of the fence, all as depicted on
the survey dated January 14, 2000 and last revised August 28, 2002. Documentary proof that
the reserved areas indicated on the survey has been transferred to a homeowners association
"tax-exempt organization" or that all necessary steps and approvals have been obtained to
transfer the reserved areas indicated on the above survey to a homeowners association "tax-
exempt organization" or the Town of Southold, must be provided.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be considered a determination
made for any other Department or Agency, which may also have an application pending for the
same or similar project.
Permit to construct and complete project will expire two years from the date the permit is signed.
Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this
notification.
hnspections are required at a fee of $5.00 per inspection. (See attached schedule.)

August 20, 2002, the following recommendation was made:
