It is used in part for agricultural purposes ; it fronts on a large expanse of beach overlooking Peconic Bay. 18. OTHER NOTABLE FEATURES OF BUILDING AND SITE (including interior features if known): 21-story, 3-bay, center entrance house with gable roof, 2 located on the north of the property not far from Main Road. In 1897 this structure appears to have been F. Maxwell. SIGNIFICANCE 19. DATE OF INITIAL CONSTRUCTION: 1881* ARCHITECT: For alterations : Otto Koeckel, in 1920 BUILDFR: 20. HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE: In 1880s the two houses on this estate were operated as inns by Mr. and Mrs. Kreutzer, according to the present owner. * On 1909 map it was Park Hotel-Mrs. M.
