12-story, hip roof, 3-bayycenter entrance house with flanking
single. bay flat roof wings on east and west. Palladian-style
wall-faced dormer over entrance. Pergolas at entrance and at
each flanking bay. Balustraded terrace between the two flanking
bays.
Balconied gable roofed dormers on east and west slopes.
SIGNIFICANCE Stained glass windows in wings.

Was built by a German methodist minister Rev. Hehr in 1920s*
This interesting house is in the manner of a European country
villa. It adds greatly to the interest of the streetscape.
The Rev. J. Hehr is indicated as owner of this property in
1909 - without any house.
