A classic 11-story, 3--bay, side-entrance plan, gable roof
house with 1-story wing on west . Porch across wing has
original slender chamfered poste .
Paired chimneys on west wall of main house service two
fireplaces in front and back rooms.

Howell house in 1909.
This old house is of particular interest because it retains
its paired end chimneys. These were typical of 19th century
double-parlor houses . Its integrity is excellent .
