The cemetery lies north of the Main Road. The King' s High-
way at this point was the present day Lower Road; it
coincides again with the Main Road after the intersection
with Akerly Pond Lane. Willow Hill was also the site of the

't). HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE:
Willow Hill Cemetery is pleasantly located in the western
part of the Hamlet of Southold. It contains a number of
well kept lots and handsome family monuments.
The Sodom School, now gone, was located a short distance
west of this.
