As an adjacent property owner we have certain concerns regarding the above permit,
request tha~ we would appreciate t~rther review by the trustees before granting approval.
l--The area proposed for clearing appears to have a considerable amount of native
vegetation. We feel tha~ this should not be cleared but retained not only for erosion ~,
control but for asth~.'tic reasons and protection of,natural habitat for birds and other~al
wildlife. Poison ivy and other undesireable vegetation should be removed. We woul~lI
appreciate confirmation that this will be a provision of any permit granted.
2--Our property is currently bulkheaded to, the property line which is adjacent to
request for a stone retaining wall. Wouldn t it be pre~brrable to continue standard
bulkheading rather than a stone wall construction? This would tie into our existing
bulkhead and provide a more uniform appearance.
3--We see no need for the 45 foot stone wall along the property line.
4--We have no other concerns regarding the proposed project. If you have any quesl ans
regarding these comments please contact me Donald Moyle (203) 762-8532.

Re: Pre-Application Inspoction R~quest; Larry Kulick: SCTM #1000-$7-3-61
Dear Sir:
Mr. Kulick is interested in applying to the Trustees for a permit to:
Install a retaining wall or berm
· Dredge his boat slip
· Clear the overgrown portion o.f his propemj of brambles, poison ivy, etc. /,/
· Construct a remm on an existing small section of bulkhead and backfill behinc[ltt
Since there are multiple activities, some of which may be of particular concern to I~e Trustees,
I would appreciate the opportunity to meet at the site with the Board during its reg~lar inspec-
tion tour on April 15~.
Mr. Kulick tells me that the Board has already inspected the property, but it will b~ helpful ifI
can be present during another inspection, rI"1
I am enclosing a cheek for $40 to cover the inspection fee; the complete applicati~ will be
submitted in time for the May regular meeting, and I ask that the inspection (and tl~ associated
fee) be applied to that application.

Dear Mr. Krupski and Trustees,
I would like to thank the trustees for their t~me in reviewing my request to clearing my prope~y located
on Minnehaha Blvd.
As I explained, my wife, three sons (ages 9,13,15), and myself are extremely allergic to poisd~ ivy. My
children are so sensitive that they get a reaction without physical contact to the plant. You sa~ yesterday
the effect of the poison ivy has on me after spending ten minutes cutting an access path into t~e growth.
All types of medications have been tried to no avail.
Since the property has gone an extensive period of time by the previous owner with no maintenance I
believe the best way to eradicate the poison will be to clear out the entire piece of property, l~om that
point I would be able to manage the property and not allow further growth of the poison ivy.l/
As I explained, I will be out of town on April 23rd, when you will be returning with the NY~ pEC for
their evaluation of this request. I would hope that you would do all that is possible to explaift my
situation and that both parties would subsequently approve my request. Iii
Should you feel it necessary that I have a representative present on April 23rd, please notify e as soon
