The house is elevated above the road. Indian Neck Lane
itself is a little traveled, picturesque country road
with open fields and woodland.

This house was built by Leslie for whom Leslie's Road is
named.
It is of special interest because of its vertical board-
and-batten cladding. There are still a number of mid-19th
century houses in this area with this boarding.
