The house stands on the highest point of Nassau Point,
cabins of logs from camp days still remain.

Large 22-story, 3-bay center entrance, gable roof house
with gable-.roof center projecting bay. Interesting paired
Tuscan round-topped window in end gable. 1-story semi-
hexagonal bay window on west. Semi wrap-around porch with
paired square columns.

The house was built by Edward White Burr (who owned
Nassau Point with John Carrington after 18571#for
his doctor, named Carpenter. *
Dr. Carpontor is listad in the 1858 Business
Dir-story as tho only physician in Cutchogun.
