This house is situated on Route 25, a dual lane, low
density state road, a historic road which once was the
Icing' s Highway. In rear the property abutts on open
fields.
IH. OTHER NOTABLE FEATURES OF BUILDING AND SITE (including interior features if known):
Small 12 story, L-shaped, gambrel roof, shingle-style house
with gable Front to the street , subsumed entrance porch.
Heavy cornice returns at 2nd floor level. The roof flare
at lst floor level is carried across gable ends.
One window on east elevation retains lozenge-shaped upper
SIGNIFICANCE sash.

U. HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE:
One of the few examples of the turn-of-the-century
shingle style, this house adds interest and variety
to this historic highway.
This house may have boon Lindsey on the 1909 map.
