POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the Board on any given topic. Call to Order. Pledge of Allegiance. Approval of the Audit of Bills of May 24, 2005. Approval of the Minutes of the April 26, 2005 Town Board Meeting. RESOLUTIONS Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. 308. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute an amendment to Contract #C006213 with New York State relating to Implementation of priority LWRP projects. 309. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute an amendment to Contract #C006157 with New York State relating to Southold Erosion Mitigation Project. 310. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute a draft grant application for submission to the U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in accordance with a grant designation the Town has received for $1,464,735. 311. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute an agreement with individuals and businesses for the summer 2005 recreation programs. 312. Amend resolution #191, adopted at the April 12, 2005 regular Town Board meeting to change the effective date of the appointment of Richard J. Buonauito to May 2, 2005. 313. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2005 budget to appropriate funds for Program Supplies/Materials, Programs for the Aging. 314. Appoint Dori Dubrava and Linda Zeneski to the position of Senior Program Volunteers at the Human Resource Center. 315. Promote Linda Cooper to the full-time position of Senior Administrative Assistant in the Town Clerk's Office. 317. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for temporary full-time Cook and part- time Health Aide at the Human Resource Center. 318. Authorize the closure of Sound Avenue, Mattituck, for the Mattituck Presbyterian Church Annual Summer Fair on August 6, 2005. 319. Accept the letter of intent to retire of Greg N. Tyler from his position of Automotive Mechanic IV at the Highway Department. 320. Amend resolution #199, adopted at the April 12, 2005 regular Town Board meeting to change the effective date that an employee be placed on leave without pay under the FMLA to May 25, 2005. 321. Authorize and direct Town Clerk Neville to advertise for a Custodial I position for the Department of Public Works. 322. Authorize modification to the 2005 budget for Minute Tracking Software, Town Clerk. 323. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute an agreement with CompuSolve Government Solutions for MinuteTraq Software. 324. Grant permission to James Mott and wife to temporarily locate a single family trailer on their properly to be used as temporary living quarters while they reconstruct their home which was damaged by fire. 325. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to retain L.K. McLean Associates, P.C. to compete the SEQRA review in connection with the proposed new animal shelter. 326. Promote Automotive Equipment Operator Randall A. Wells to the position of Automotive Mechanic III in the Highway Department. 327. Promote Heavy Equipment Operator James S. Finno to the position of Construction Equipment Operator in the Highway Department. 328. Promote Heavy Equipment Operator Richard G. Mellas to the position of Construction Equipment Operator in the Highway Department. 329. Appoint Jacob Smith as a student member of the Southold Town Conservation Council. Grant permission to Town Clerk Neville to attend the Annual New York Association of Local Government Records Officers (NYALGRO) Conference June 12-14, 2005 in Lake Placid. 331. Accept the bid of Corazzini Brothers Inc. for the purchase of Type 66 Asphalt for the Highway Department. 332. Appoint Thomas A. Crowley to the part-time position of Mini Bus Driver in the Human Resources Department. 333. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute the Westlaw Order Form with West Group. 334. Determine that the proposed "A Local Law in relation to Amendments to the Domestic Partnership Law" is classified as a Type II action and not subject to further review, pursuant to SEQRA. 335. Determine that the proposed "A Local Law in relation to Amendments to the Litter on Private Property Law" is classified as a Type II action and not subject to further review, pursuant to SEQRA. 336. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2005 budget to appropriate money for tennis courts. 337. Authorize the closure of East Side Road, Mattituck, for the Annual Mattituck-Cutchogue Boy Scouts Cubmobile Race, June 5, 2005. 338. Appoint James P. Eagan to the position of part-time seasonal deckhand for the Fishers Island Ferry District. 339. Support the proposal of the Cutchogue Fire District regarding the road divider in Cutchogue. 340. Adopt the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form, pursuant to the Town Code of the Town of Southold, Chapter 95, Waterfront Consistency Review. 341. Authorize the Town Clerk to advertise an upcoming LWRP compliance and educational seminar in The Suffolk Times and The Traveler Watchman. 342.
