VILLAGE: Cut choaue DESCRIPTION: Along M~in Road,as you are entering Cutchogue from the west, the district starts with the Rosenstone house (CU-13) on your left and the Osborne house (CU-14) on your right. Next is the Presbyterian Church (CU-15), and Old Parsonage (CU-16) a~ross~the street. The district ends with the~ Wiekham house and farmstand. ' ' ' . 4. SIGNIFICANCE: This historic district includes the present Village Green with "Old House", a National Landmark, and other museum buildings that were moved to the site. Continuing east there is a row of very interesting old commercial structures .of considerable significance. East of these there are some · -.'.%erly~tYPical,' l~-story houses,and on the north side of Nain .Road a row of ¢o~p~wlater 19th century residences. The district ends with the William (John) Wickham farmhouse which - while off the highway - has frontage and a farmstand along. Nain Road. 5.
