Route 25, a dual lane low density state road, on the approach
to the hainlPt of Cutchogue. It is one of the many old houses
that line the roadside . BO.hind the house there is some open
land, across the road vast fields and the landscaped golf course.

121 story, 3-bay gable roof half-house with 1-story wing
in rear. Central chimney, 6/6 windows and small 4-paned
square windows on the gable end. Stone foundation. There
is no roof overhang on the rake which indicates that this
is an early house.

This house was thought to have been Horton in 1858 and
Fanning (?) in 1873.
This old house contributes to the ambience of this
historic highway.
