House stands on a hilly clearing sloping westward in the
center of the island.

12 story gable house, 22 storeys on right hand side.
Central entrance on the 5-bay end-wall side, fronted by
a 3-bay porch. Wide shed roof extends from right hand
gable end to cover a garage. Partially attached and at
right angles to the left hand gable end is a 1-story (cont. )

extension, used as a granary. Again at cross-angles
a long shed with doors fronting on to small concrete
pens used for animals such as pigs.
The central enclosure formed by these buildings and
a portion of concrete wall forms a large pen which
was originally screened in and was used for pheasants
prior to being released.
