As Mr. Jacobs now also wishes to ~et timber ace,s stairs down th~ bluff to the beach, I am attaching (4) copies of a project plan to request ~a amendment to the permit. Specifically, we request an amendment to allow the additional construction ora 4' wide set of timber stairs and platforms, totaling approximately 87' in length landward of the retaining wall, and a 4' x 5' set of stairs from the top of the retaining wall to the beach. These specifications, as well as the distance of the landwardmost portion eft the stairs from the nearest corner of the existing house are depicted on the attached plans. Please be advised that construction on the retaining wall has not yet commenced and the site conditions have not changed in the past four months. By copy of this letter and plans, I am requesting that the Southold Board of Trustees similarly amend their permit.
