Dear Mr. Fitzgerald:
The Board of Town Trustees took the following action during its regular meeting held on
Wednesday, June 26, 2002 regarding the above matter:
WHEREAS, James E. Fitzgerald, Jr. on behalf of PATRICIA WIEDERMAN applied to the
Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of Chapter 97 of the Southold Town
Code, the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated May 30, 2002, and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council
for their findings and recommendations, and,
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on
June 26, 2002, at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in
question and the surrounding area, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted
concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies ~vith the standards set forth in Chapter 97 of the Southold
Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health,
safety and general xvelfare of the people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board o£Tmstees approve the application of PATRICIA WIEDERMAN
to remove 35 linear ft. of non-functional jetty and reconstruct remaining 45 linear ft. of jetty on
eastem comer of property. Remove 10 linear ft. of non-functional jetty and reconstmct 10 linear
ft. of remaining jetty on westem edge of property. Remove and replace inkind/inplace 90 linear
ft. of existing bulkhead. All work must be done in accordance with the plans prepared by
Proper-T Permit Services last revised May 2, 2003.
Permit to construct and complete project will expire two years from the date the permit is signed.
Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this
notification.
Inspections are required at a fee of $5.00 per inspection. (See attached schedule.)

CONSERVATION ADVISORY COUNCIL
At the meeting of the Southold Town Consewation Advisory Council held Monday, June
24, 2002, the following recommendation was made:
Moved by Bill McDermott, seconded by Mel~,yn Morris, it was
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVAL of the
Wetland Permit Application of PATRICIA WlEDERMAN to reconstruct inkind/inplace
90'+/- of existing timber bulkhead; reconstruct inkind/inplace 80'+/- of existing timber
jetty; reconstruct inkind/inplace 30'+/- of existing timber jetty, extending this section of
jetty to overall length 40'+/- as originally existed; and DISAPPROVAL of the application
to add fixed dock platform 4'X 8' on top of and at end of 40' jetty, with 3' access
walkway along top of jetty.
Located: 450 Cedar Point Dr. East, Southold. SCTM#90-2-15
The CAC recommends Disapproval of the application to add a platform on top of the
jetty because the structure would then become a dock.
