Old Main Road was created when Main Road was straightened.
This barn sits to the south of the residence and other misc.
farm buildings. A nursery of small plants is to the south
and west. The area to the south is open Fields.

Horizontal string coerces with every 7th row headers on this
barn and openings for joist ends at loft level. Five windows
on south facade and six low and narrow entrances for animals.
Entrance door on north facade flanked by single windows each
with arched openings.

0. HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE:
Miss Husing' s family formerly owned a large acreage here
including Husing Pond which she gave to The Nature Con-
servancy. The property was formerly Horton.
The barn was built by Miss Husing' s father to house pigs.
