The property includes a pond full of phragmites. The house sits on a small hill above the pond. 18. HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE: This house has been included in many tours of Mattituck' s historic sites. Craven ;says it was Lewis Goldsmith before Luther Cox.
