Frank Polistena reported that he had a lead on getting poles for the lights at Aldrich Lane site from the Peconic ball field. He also reported that his volley ball teams will be using the courts at Breakwater Beach site on Wednesday and Friday nights. Commissioners told him to get back to them on the pole situation. Steve Ostroski asked if a crane could be brought in to the Alddrich Lane site to dig the holes for the new poles so that lights could be put right on them instead of dropping the poles down to avoid broken glass all over the fields. Commissioners would consider the situation. The lighting system was discussed. Three-phase lighting is very expensive. It would cost $11,000.00 - $12,000.00 for lights. Mr. Ostroski said that one of the members of the soccer club is a heavy equipment contractor and he can get the lights for $6,000.00 instead of going through a dealer for $11,000.00-$12,000.00. Jerome Zuhoski stated to Mr. Ostsroski that he didn't want anybody playing on the Aldrich Lane fields while the old poles are still up. General discussion was had on . . the poles and electricity. Mr. Ostroski then left the meeting. (Mr. Ostroski's Cutchogue telephone number is 987-4774 and his home number is 298-7056). Mr. Williamson reported that Gerry Goehringer wanted him to have the building stained. He will do that. He gave a proposal to Corazzini Electric for the underground conduit Mr. Williamson brought in the Certificate ofliability insurance from Curran Cooney Penny Agency showing Mattituck Park District as an additional insured. At the Aldrich Lane site nothing is to be moved into the building until a Certificate of Occupancy on the building has been received. Commissioners spoke with Ed Grohoski regarding work that has to be done at the various sites. Yacht Club site - Born gave a quote of $350 to fix three posts. Love Lane site - One spile was lost. He has one. He has to have Love Lane lock re-keyed. Ed would like to get a 5-gallon bucket of paint for Breakwater. Commissioners told Ed to find out about getting an account of Schwing Electric. LILCO wants to know where to put the gas heater.. Ed is fixing and painting the bathrooms at the Lodge. Estimates for ice eaters for heating to put around spiles: West Marine - $514, Daves Marine - $389. Commissioners told Ed to try to get an account at East End Supply at Greenport. Kim Prokop entered the meeting to discuss the Easter Egg Hunt. It will be held on March 20 at 12 Noon. She has a commitment 0[$300 from the Mattituck Chamber of Commerce. Shoreline Construction - $250 and Park District - $650. Kim to contact the Lions for a possible contribution. Kim also stated that she would like to have some kind of public address system because the bull horn doesn't do the job. Commissioners to get something together for her. Kim wanted to know if the Commissioners want to put up fence. Greg Williams is furnishing four bikes (one for each age group). He promises to be there this year. He apologized for his absence last year. Kim asked about hanging a sign up across Love Lane advertising the Egg hunt. . . Unique Lettering got in touch with Gail Faircloth to let the Commissioners know he is volunteering to donate a sign for the building at Vet's Park. Kim said she would get back to the Commissioners with the prices of new things for the playground. The figure must be kept under $10,000.00. (Park bench, s\\ings, etc.) No further business to come before the meeting on motion of Jerome Zuhoski, seconded by Tom McCaffery and carried, the meeting was adjourned. Res~ctfully submitted, .
