Purani, as issued on June 24, 2004.
This is not an approval from any other agency.

My wife and I purchased the property at 835 Waterview Drive in Southold on 6/30 of this year.
We were not informed that we needed to transfer the dock permit into our name until just
recently,therefore,this letter serves as a request to transfer permit 45942 per the details below:

Along with this transfer request,you have our permission to enter the property for inspection;

current owners, so I have included a copy of our property deed as well.

Dear Mr. Just:
The Board of Town Trustees took the following action during its regular meeting held on
Thursday, June 24, 2004 regarding the above matter:
WHEREAS, Glenn E. Just on behalf of PETER RUTTURA applied to the Southold
Town Trustees for a permit under the provisions of Chapter 97 of the Southold Town
Code, the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated May 10, 2004,
and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory
Council for their findings and recommendations, and,
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said
application on June 24, 2004, at which time all interested persons were given an
opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the
premises in question and the surrounding area, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted
concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standards set forth in Chapter 97 of the
Southold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the
health, safety and general welfare of the people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approve the application of PETER RUTTURA
to construct 4'X 4' steps leading to a 4'X 40' fixed dock, which shall be constructed 4'
above the grade of the existing marsh, a 3'X 16' ramp, and a 6'X 20' floating dock in an
"L" configuration, with the condition there is no mowing within 20' of the marsh, except
for in the area of the path, and all as depicted on the plan prepared by J.M.O.
Environmental Consulting last dated September 27, 2004.
Permit to construct and complete project will expire two years from the date the permit
is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable, and permit issued within six months of the
date of this notification.
Inspections are required at a fee of $50.00 per inspection. (See attached schedule.)

The New York District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, has
received a request for Department of the Army authorization for
the following activity:
APPLICANT:

ACTIVITY:
Dredge approximately 30 cubic yards (CY) of
material from an area 10-feet waterward from the
bulkhead to a depth of 4-feet below the plane of
mean low water, in which 15 CY would be used as
backfill and the remainder to be deposited at an
upland location. Under the authority of Nationwide
General Permit Number 3, removal and replacement,
in-place, approximately 135 linear feet of
existing timber bulkhead with vinyl bulkhead.
The purpose of this project is to maintain the
existing erosion control structure.'

James Creek, a tributary to Great Peconic Bay
LOCATION:
Mattituck, Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New
York
As this is minor in nature, authorization may be by Letter
of Permission. This is in accordance with current Federal
Regulations governing work in navigable waters of the United
States. To accomplish the coordination required, prior to the
issuance of a Letter of Permission, your review of the enclosed
drawings is requested.
Pursuant to Section 307 (c) of the Coastal Zone Management
Act of 1972 as amended (16 U.S.C. 1465 (c) (3) (A)), the applicant
has certified that the activity complies with and will be
conducted in a manner that is consistent with the approved state
coastal zone management program.
To allow for the timely processing of the subject
application, your comments are requested within 20 days of the
