Dear Mr. McCarthy:
The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees during a Regular Meeting, held
on May 24, 2001, regarding the above matter
WHEREAS, THOMAS MC CARTHY applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit
under the provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold, application dated April
24, 2001 and
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council
for their findings and recommendations, and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with respect to said application on
May 24, 2001 at which time all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard, and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are familiar with the premises in
question and the surrounding area, and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and documentation submitted
concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the stnlcture complies with the standard set forth in Chapter 97-18 of the Southold
Town Code.
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed will not affect the health,'
safety and general welfare of the people of the town,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT.
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees approved the application of THOMAS MC CARTHY
Wetland Permit to construct a single family residence with decks, pool, detached garage that
haybales be placed up to 75 feet set back line and contain roof run-off into drywells with leaders
and gutters into drywells.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be considered a determination
made for any other Department or Agency which may also have an application pending for the
same or similar project.
Permit to construct project will expire two years from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, it'
applicable, and permit issued within six months of the date of this notification.

The following action was taken by the Board of Town Trustees
during its regular meeting held on December 16, 1998 regarding
the above matter:
WHEREAS, J.M.O. CONSULTING on behalf of THO~AS J. McCARTHY
applied to the Southold Town Trustees for a permit under the
provisions of the Wetland Ordinance of the Town of Southold,
application dated July 28, 1998, and,
WHEREAS, said application was referred to the Southold Town
Conservation Advisory Council for their findings and
recommendations, and,
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Trustees with
respect to said appll'dation on Decen%ber 16, 1998, at which time
all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board members have personally viewed and are
familiar with the premises in question and the surrounding area,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board has considered all the testimony and
documentation submitted concerning this application, and,
WHEREAS, the structure complies with the standard set forth in
Chapter 37-18 of the Southold Town Code,
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the project as proposed
will not affect the health, safety and general welfare of the
people of the town,
NOW T~EREFORE BE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees grant a Wetland Permit to
construct a 4'X 4~'fixed dock, 4'X 10'ramp, and 6'X 20'float
with the condition that the revised drawing be put on a survey.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this determination should not be
considered a determination made for any other Department or
Agency which may also have an application pending for the same
or similar project.
Permit to construct and complete project will expire two years
from the date it is signed. Fees must be paid, if applicable,
and permit issued within six months of the date of this
notification.

upon completion of said project.
