Dear Mr. and Mrs. Smith:
The following action was taken by the Southold Town Board of Trustees at their Regular
Meeting held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023:
RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVE the request for a
Transfer of Wetland Permit#2072 from Carol Safir to Thomas & Jennifer Smith, as
issued on September 25, 1985 and Amended on June 25, 1997 and Amended again on
May 24, 2000; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVE
the Administrative Amendment to Wetland Permit #2072 to add two additional pilings;
and as indicated on the project plan prepared by Jennifer Smith, received on May 31,
2023, and stamped approved on June 14, 2023.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

dated September 25, 1985,to include 2 new pilings as per the attached schematic.
These pilings are needed to safely secure our boat.

As current owners of 3121 Oaklawn Avenue in Southold,w .w permits and amendments
related to our dock and bulkhead transferred into our names: Thomas Smith and Jennifer Smith
This includes" " Permit#2072 dated September 25, 1985,Amendment letter dated
June 30, 1997 and Amendment letter dated June 2, 2000. It also includes"but is not limited to" Permit
31$� #19S-3for the bulkhead. (Note:We believe that the reference in the letter dated June 2,2000 to Permit
#2280 is a typographical error.)
We give Southold Town permission to go onto our property as needed. We also request that the name
change on all our dock and bulkhead permits be placed on the next available Board Hearing agenda.
Once again,we kindly request that all permits and amendments related to our dock and bulkhead at
3121 Oaklawn Avenue in Southold be transferred into our name.
