Kmpski, Jr. President, Board of Trustees AJK: cjc Cc: DEC Building Department Board of Trustees 25, 2003 Town of Southold Dear Trustees, I am writing to you on behalf of The Rev. W. Joel Warner Jr., and The Rev. Noel Koestline. They are attempting to have a second story addition (600 sq. f~) added omo their home at 270 Smith,Dr. S.. We currently hold a Trustees permit #5379 issued on July 25, 2001. Since that time we have been navigating the regulatory waters of the New York State D.E.C. and then the Suffolk County Health Department. We have finally received approvals from these agencies. When we submitted the Building Department application they said that we needed to get a "N J" letter fi'om the Town Trustees. As part oftbe D.E.C. approval the homeowners had to agree to move the septic system. As you can see on the Suffolk County Health Department and NYS D.E.C. approved site plan, the new septic field will be beyond the 100 feet jurisdiction of the Trustees. I hope that we may obtain this letter as soon as possible so that the build'rog department application can be resubmitted. We have a scheduled date of July 15, 2003 to begin construction. The homeowners are understandably anxious for this project to begin since it has taken over two years to get to this point. We would like to thank you in advance ~ your cooperation. Sthcerely, ~" John Fisher 3 Agent for Warner/Koestline Town of Southold Board of Trustees PO box 1179 Southold, N.Y. Ju~ 1, 2003 Dear Board Of Trustees, We are writing to you to request an extension of Town Trustee permit #5379 issued July 25, 2001. In addition, we are told, that the permit must be amended to accommodate the new septic system that was required by the New York Dept. of Environmental Conservation. The Suffolk County Health Department has approved the design of the new septic system and the N.Y.D.E.C. has approved its location. I understand that the Town Trustee Board meets this month and I sincerely hope that this can be accommodated on the agenda. The homeowners, The Rev. W. Joel Warner and Rev. Noel Koestline, have had to navigate the regulatory waters for almost two years in order to get this simple project approved and as they near the end of the permit process are anxious to have their project begin construction. Enclosed is the fee for the permit extension and we anxiously await your approval. Sincerely, John Fisher Agent/Warner, Koestline. Albert J.
