POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly
address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will
also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the
Board on any given topic.

V. RESOLUTIONS
Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to
speak on the following resolutions.
107. Authorize modification to the General Whole Town 2005 budget for contracted services,
furniture moving.
108. Authorize modification to the Fishers Island Ferry District 2005 budget for various
overdrawn expenses and services.
109. Accept the bid of Thames Shipyard and Repair of New London, CT for dry-docking the
vessel Race Point.
110. Authorize the establishment of the following Capital Project in the 2005 Capital Budget:
Computer Workstations and Printers.
111. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to retain the firm of L.K. McLean Associates to
perform a Traffic Analysis and Parking Study at Town Hall.
112. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute an agreement with lwo individuals for
the spring 2005 recreation programs.

113. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to retain the finn of L.K. McLean Associates to
provide Engineering Services to amend site plan and provide information, pursuant to
SEQRA.
114. Authorize and direct the submission of a 2005 proposal to the U.S. Department of
Agriculture Commodity Credit Corporation Farm and Ranch Lands Protection Program for
land preservation.
115. Declare the following police vehicles surplus and authorize the Town Clerk to advertise for
their sale: 2FAFP71WXYX176395 2000 Ford Crown Victoria and
2FALP71WXPX183915 1993 Ford Crown Victoria.
116. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2005 budget to appropriate funds
for Community Beautification, Cutchogue Chamber Project.
117. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to re-advertise for a school crossing guard at the
Mattituck High School (Route 25 and Maple Avenue) crossing and for the East Cutchogue
School crossing.
118. Authorize modification to the Community Development Block Grant Program for the
Oysterponds Playground Project.
119. Elect to continue to fund the Town's Deferred Compensation Plan with Hartford Life and
direct Supervisor Horton to execute an election form certifying said election.
120. Grant permission to Senior Environmental Planner Mark Terry and Senior Planner
Anthony Trezza to attend a Farmland Conservation seminar on March 16, 2005 in
Riverhead.
121. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2004 budget to appropriate funds
for overextended budget lines in the 2004 budget.
122. Authorize modification to the Highway Fund Whole Town 2005 budget.
123. Grant permission to Damon Rallis, Building Permits Examiner, Patricia Conklin, Building
Permits Examiner, Robert Fisher, Fire Inspector to attend training seminars on April 21,
2005 and June 23, 2005 in Hampton Bays.
124. Grant permission to George Gillen, Building Inspector to attend training seminars on April
20, 2005 and June 22, 2005 in Hampton Bays.

125. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for bids for improvements to the
Cutchogue Transfer Station and Residential Drop-Off facility.
126. Authorize modification to the Solid Waste Management District 2005 budget.
127. Approve the trailer permit application of Soundview Inn, SCTM# 1000-44-2-22, fora
period of six (6) months to be used as a motel office/watchman during the repair and
reconstruction of the fire damaged area.
128. Grant permission to Boy Scout Troop #39 of Mattituck to use Town Roads on Sunday,
June 19, 2005 for a 5K fundraising event.
129. Grant permission to Oysterponds Union Free School District to use Town Roads on
Saturday, May 7, 2005 for a 5Krun/walk race.
130. Amend resolution 98, adopted at the March 1, 2005 regular Town Board meeting.
131. Accept the bid of Bay Ridge Motors, Inc. for the 1998 Ford Crown Victoria located the
Police Headquarters.
132. Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to sign an Inspection Service Agreement with
Apollo Fire Safety Co., Inc., for the inspection of the Town Hall sprinkler system.
133. Appoint Francesca Quintieri to the position of provisional Spanish speaking Clerk Typist in
the Office of the Town Clerk.
134. Set 8:00 p.m., April 12, 2005, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public
hearing on "A Local Law in relation to Rural Incentive Districts".
135. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to transmit the proposed "A Local Law in relation to
Rural Incentive Districts" to the Planning Board and the Suffolk County Department of
Planning for their recommendations and reports.
136. Ratify the settlement agreement dated March 4, 2005 regarding a town employee.
137. Accept the resignation letter of Kent McCarthy, effective March 4, 2005.
